Post-doctoral Scientist in Integrative Organismal Biology
A postdoctoral position is available in the Patek laboratory at Duke University to examine the evolution and biomechanics of fast biological movements across the tree of life. Our integrative and comparative research program links biomechanical analyses and field work with phylogenetic comparative analyses and modeling. We are looking for a candidate with experience in one or more of these areas. The candidate may have a background in biology, engineering and/or physics. A Ph.D. is required.
The appointment will be for 12 months with the possibility for renewal contingent on performance. The annual salary range for this position will be commensurate with experience. The start date is flexible, preferably in summer or fall of 2015.
